Come and relax at our family run glamping site. Based in North Yorkshire, nestled between the North York Moors and beautiful coast line, we are surrounded by impressive countryside.
Having opened in summer 2022, we have worked hard to offer a relaxing, peaceful and comfortable site for your glamping experience. Our individual pitch / bell tent / pod areas are grassy, with young trees and hedges in-between each area, which we planted in 2023, adding to the feel of the individual area, with a communal mowed area in the centre for games / gatherings. We have a hand built (by ourselves onsite) washroom and a kitchen area for use by all guests.
Nestled between the North York Moors and beautiful coastline, come and stay at our glamping in a bell tent or the restored circus wagon, both of which have outdoor seating and fire pit to enjoy the outdoors fully. Clover Hill glamping holidays are suitable for various people looking for a break away, weather a couple, family or group.
For campers who want to bring their own tent, we offer a small and friendly site, with individual pitches, to ensure you have your own space, all pitches have electric points.
We are an ideal base to explore the surrounding area, situated only 11 miles from the popular seaside town of Whitby, North Yorkshire and many quaint villages, including Staithes, Runswick Bay, Grosmont and Danby to mention a few. There is so much to see and do you’ll wonder how you will fit everything in!

Glampers in the bell tent or wagon, there are fire pits provided in with the price.
For campers fire pits are available to hire on site. You can book this when booking accommodation or on arrival.
At times fire bans can be put in place (by North Yorkshire moors) due to extreme heat / wind, during these times we would expect guests to comply with this for their own and others safety.
– Penny Petroleum Garage – 5 minute walk (or 2 minute drive) for petrol, basic essentials and alcohol.
– Staithes – 15 minute drive, Small Co-op which has a good selection of groceries.
– Hinderwell – 10 minute drive, local butchers, who also sell bread, fruit and vegetables.
– Whitby – 15 minute drive – supermarkets include: Aldi, Lidl, Co op, Sainsbury’s.
– Guisborough – 15minute drive, supermarkets include: Aldi, Lidl, M&S food, Sainsbury’s, Iceland.
What cooking facilities are on site?
The communal kitchen area has: a mini oven with double hob on top, microwave and fridge.
There is a fire pit at each glamping pitch for roasting your marshmallows!
Fire pits are available to hire for camping pitches.
Feel free to bring your own small gas stove or BBQ as long as it is raised off the ground and used outside your tent.
It is possible to hire a tripod BBQ from out site and charcoal.

BBQ pack, which includes a tripod BBQ, 1 x 2kg bag of locally produced lump wood charcoal, fire lighters and utensils is £14.50.
Fire pit pack, which includes a fire pit, 1 x bag of logs, kindling and firelighters is £14.50.
Additional logs are £8 per bag, which includes kindling.
Additional charcoal is £6 per bag.
Additional fire lighters are £1.50 per box.
Lighters are sold at £1 per lighter.
A bottle of prosecco £11.
Ice bucket with ice £2.50.

Items not available on site and must be pre booked:
Helium celebration balloons, which comprises of 3 balloons on ribbon with weight. You can contact us to let us know an age, celebration type, colours etc. The balloons will be in your accommodation on arrival. These cost £17.
Birthday / anniversary banners. These can be put up in your accommodation for your arrival FREE of charge. (Please contact us with details)
